Six lovely ways to bring spring into your home
We have finally seen our first sighting of spring. Crocuses have started to bloom all around our boutique in Reigate, and we are excited about the change in the season. We love simple spring decor, that can change a space and make it feel fresh and clean.
Also, we have ordered some new beautiful items into the shop, that are perfect to add simple spring touches into your home.
1. Flowers Everywhere
Spring flowers bring not only look beautiful but often are beautiful pastel colours, that highlight the season.
We love these tiny posy jars, which are perfect for crocuses, grape hyacinths and snowdrop displays all around the house. Plus, the vases are only £1.95 and the small bunches of forever flowers are only £1.95 too.
If you want your flowers to last for the whole season, come and take to use about our artificial flower collection, from small posies to our best-selling hydrangeas, we have a full range of artificial spring flowers in our boutique in Reigate.
2. Pastels
Soft pinks and blues, with lots of beautiful white, really make your house feel fresh and full of spring.
We have some beautiful mugs that you can display in the kitchen to bring in the new season.
Why not try a large ceramic white vase filled with soft pastel flowers and placed around the house for simple spring decor.
3. Scents that bring spring to life
Imagine walking through a meadow filled with flowers or through a rose garden in early May, when they’re all starting to bloom. We want you to experience those scents throughout your home this spring.
Rose & Geranium
One of the most popular spring scents in our flower garden fragrance. The mix of roses with a delicate hint of vanilla makes you imagine that you’re in a rose garden filled with fresh flowers. See the Rose & Geranium collection.
Herb Garden
For those who want a slightly less floral fragrance, try our herb garden scent with a mix of lavender and rosemary. Plus, the hint of pine to add freshness to any room. See the herb garden fragrance collection.
White Gardenia
We love this candle in the early evening when Jasmine and Honeysuckle naturally bloom. Even though these flowers traditionally bloom in summer, it’s the perfect evening scent to clean out the winter and bring in the spring. See our White Gardenia collection.
4. Lighting
We’re seeing sunnier days as we move throughout the year, so it’s important to let all that light into your home. Open your blinds and curtains, even brave opening a few windows to clean the air in your space.
For those days that are less sunny, try putting delicate lighting around that won’t impose, but help lift the space. We love our delicate wire fair lights in a glass vase, to help bring light to a dark corner.
5. Accessorise yourself
From a delicate scarf to a beautiful pastel clutch, not only can you make your home feel full of spring, but you can add a little Spring wherever you go.
We love our pastel Butterfly scarf, to add some Spring to your outfit. It will keep you warm, in case of a Spring shower, but light enough to be worn every day.
Team it with our new soft real suede clutches in grey, pink or pale blue to show your spring you’re ready.
6. Spring cleaning
For those wishing to help get rid of the winter cobwebs, it might be time for a good spring clean. We have recently become obsessed with Marie Kondo on Netflix and can’t wait to start making our spaces feel calm and relaxing. Start with your clothes and follow the process to create space in your home, that you can fill with things you love and simple spring decor.
