Relax and Enjoy A Bubble Bath this Mother's Day
We believe there is nothing better than taking an hour to yourself and enjoying a relaxing bath and a good book. That’s why this Mother’s Day we put together a perfect guide of how to create the ultimate relaxing bubble bath.
1. Everything in arm’s reach
It’s important to gather everything you will need to within arms reach, so when you’re in the bath, you don’t have to get out and break your moment.
Remember a book or your favourite magazine, a body puff for exfoliating and a beverage of your choice. Make sure they’re close enough to reach but aren’t going to fall in.
2. Fluffy Towels
The worst bit of a bath is getting out, so we always get a clean, fresh towel and get it fluffy and warn for afterwards. If you’re lucky to have a towel rail, pop it on there. If not we put one on the closest radiator.
Remember to also do this with a dressing gown or pyjamas for when you’ve dried off.
3. Bubble Bath Fragrance
Lighting a few candles with scents that are relaxing and calming will help you soak away any stress and worries. We love our black pomegranate candle, which has Patchouli and Sandalwood fragrance oils.
They help restfulness and will help you sleep after the bath. Plus, it contains rose oils, which are used to reduce stress. Combined with the warm pomegranate, this is the perfect candle to relax and enjoy your bath in utter bliss.
4. Bubbles
Add your bubbles when the bath is being run to ensure full frothiness. Let the tap do the work, not your arms.
If you live in a hard water area like us, this can be tricker, but we are partial to a bath bomb if bubbles don’t work.
5. Lights and Music
Turn down the lights and enjoy the light from candles to take you a different place.
We also love a relaxing playlist from Spotify to get us in the mood. We love Bath Song to Relax. It’s wonderfully chilled out.
6. Chill out and relax
Enjoy your bath and take a moment to relax.
