At All About Eve, we love spring. The first sighting of crocuses opening up and daffodils waking up to say hello bring us pure joy. But how do we get the house out of the dark days of winter and get spring home fragrances into the house?
We love to bring some of our favourite spring florals straight into the house with a luxury scented candle, fragrance diffuser or for that instant pop of scent, room sprays, so we’ve picked our favourite scents to create aromatic spring home.
1. Flower Garden
One of our favourite spring home fragrances is rose. It brings around beautiful memories of walking around the rose gardens at Kew or enjoying sitting in the sunshine on a warm spring morning.
We’ve combined it with geranium and vanilla to add tones of softness that will fill your home with a fresh spring scent. We love it by the front door, so you can smell the scent the moment you step through the door. Plus rose oils have been proven to help reduce anxiety and help you sleep, so why not try it in your bedroom for a restful night.
2. White Gardenia
Even though our white gardenia uses flowers that traditionally bloom in the summer, the delicate floral scent still makes the house feel awake after a sleepy winter.
It combines Gardenia flowers, Jasmine and Honeysuckle to create a slightly richer floral scent in your home. We love to light our White Gardenia candle in the living room in the evening when these flowers naturally bloom to bring the smell of spring into the home.
3. Herb Garden
If florals aren’t quite your thing, but you do love the smell of natural herbs in your home, why not enjoy the scents of our Herb Garden.
We’ve combined the Lavender, Rosemary and Pine for a relaxing and fresh fragrance that works in every room. It brings in the smell of walking through a Victorian herb garden straight into your home. We love it in the kitchen to reduce the smell of cooking, but also as Lavender and Rosemary are great ways to reduce anxiety and Lavender has a sedative effect it is the perfect addition to your bedroom.
